Grupo Hespérides Biotech S.L. has developed a massive screening platform to discover bioactive molecules through different tests on model organisms (C. Elegans and S. Cerevisiae). These tests allow the assessment of hundreds of samples to study their positive effect on:

  • Obesit
  • Aging
  • Diabete
  • Inmune enhancement

Our services focus mainly on the research of bioactive molecules within the following sectors:

  • Food:
    • Functional food
    • Dietary supplements
  • Cosmetics.
  • Pharmaceutical industry.

The company collaborates with two different research groups of the University Pablo de Olavide (Spain) for the development of technology. These groups have extended experience researching with the model organisms to be used:

    • CVI177 Research group (Cell Biology Area - University Pablo de Olavide): Coenzyme Q synthesis in Saccharomyces cerevisae and its implications in lifespan and ageing.
